Fire Breaks Out in Dhankawadi,
A devastating fire broke out at the Saiba Hotel in Dhankawadi, Pune, near KK Market, on Sunday at around 4:14 pm. The fire department received a distress call, and teams from the Karve Nagar and Gangadheshwar fire stations rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the fire department personnel found a worker trapped inside the hotel. With great difficulty, the team rescued the worker, who was injured, and rushed him to the hospital for treatment. The fire was brought under control, preventing it from spreading to adjacent shops.
According to preliminary information, the fire is believed to have been caused by a gas leak from a cylinder that was being used to heat milk. The worker was unable to escape and succumbed to injuries. A total of eight cylinders were found at the scene, with three showing significant gas leaks. These cylinders have been seized by the authorities for safety reasons.
